You! and Me?

You try to control me,
eventhough I dont like it.

You want to control me,

'cause you hate chaos.

If you care about me,

then accept me just how I am.

You try to force your opinion on me,

eventhough I have another one.
You want me to be at your side,

'cause otherwise you're alone.

If you want me to support you,

then accept my way of thinking.

You try to change me,

eventhough you love me.

You want me to be another person,

'cause you think it's better for me.

If you love me,

then don't even think about changing me!

 

You want to be accepted as your are!?

You want to be loved as your are!?

You want to be who you really are!?

So why can't I be who I am?
